"Tokiwanazuna" are small white flowers which bloom in the front garden of Meiji-no-Yakata during the springtime. The plant was originally brought over to Japan when it was used as cushioning material for F. W. Horn's baggage coming from the United States. The seeds that came all the way from US during the Meiji era, continue to produce flowers in the garden for people to enjoy even to this day. The flower meaning of "Tokiwanazuna" is "to meet happiness ". We hope that you find your own happiness at Meji-no-Yakata.
